Nexcess, an eCommerce hosting provider with wholly-owned facilities located in Dearborn, Michigan, has announced that they will be giving a presentation on July 7, 2011 at an event in New York City, entitled “Conversion Engineering and Networking.”
This event will include three 15-minute presentations by the event sponsors relating to the optimization of web site conversions. Ben Nugent, a systems administrator for Nexcess, will lead off with advice on optimizing web site performance. Adam Morris from Redstage will follow with a presentation on optimizing site design for conversions. The third and final presentation will come from Thierry Benchetrit and Jeffrey Tower from Celebros on the topic of converting additional sales through utilizing on-site search functionality.
“This is a great opportunity for eCommerce webmasters to talk with some of the people most involved in the technologies that they are either currently, or should be, using,” commented Adam Morris, CEO of Redstage.
Added Thierry Benchetrit, Director of Channel and Business Developement for Celebros, “For anyone that’s around New York and involved in eCommerce, this opportunity to network and ask questions of industry experts at no cost is really a fantastic value.”
“This will not be an event that any local eCommerce professional can afford to miss,” interjected Jeffrey Tower, General Manager, North America for Celebros.
“Through partnering with Redstage and Celebros on this event, we’re hoping to really cover a wide range of subjects in these presentations that we don’t typically discuss, but should hopefully contain a lot of useful substance that’s very relevant to our average client,” remarked Chris Wells, President CEO of Nexcess.
As an added bonus to the presentations, Phil Robinson of Magento will also be in attendance to provide a brief update and answer questions on the Magento eCommerce platform, which was recently acquired by eBay, Inc. The event is set to take place from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM (EDT) at the Village Pourhouse, 64 3rd Ave., New York City, NY and space is limited.
