One screen magnified via a shortcut – how to revert?

Yesterday my cat walked through my laptop (an HP) and magnified one screen (about x4). Today I did the same mis-pressing a combination of Win and a key on the left side of my AZERTY keyboard (the modifier may have been different).

I tried everything I could to get back to normal, but I ultimately had to reboot the laptop. This is not

  • the magnifier tool
  • accessibility
  • display features such as resolution or scaling

When I right-click on the magnified screen, I see both the normal scale menu as well as the magnified one. I need to address the elements on the magnified one (and the same ones are selected on the normal scale).
If I move the mouse to the other screens, it is not visible, but I can blindly interact with it (for instance, it highlights menus when I blindly hover above them)

Has anyone seen such behaviour? And notably – know the shortcut to bring back the normal scale?
