PhoneLink Windows Explorer integration breaking after a heavy file transfer

I have tried using the new Windows Explorer integration on Windows PhoneLink. It allows me to transfer up to about 150 files from my phone to my PC at a time, after which it breaks with an error like 0x800701AA The cloud operation was not completed (but sometimes the error is different).

The real problem is that after this happens, I still see the mounted phone drive in Windows Explorer, but can’t access any files. Double-cliking a file makes Explorer start a file transfer, which freezes and eventually times out with an error.

I have tried restarting the PhoneLink app, PhoneExperienceHost.exe and CrossDeviceService.exe, but it doesn’t fix the mount. The only thing that fixes it is sign out / sign in (or restart).

Is there a way to force PhoneLink to reset the mount?
