Harvey Nash is currently recruiting a PHP Developer or LAMP Developer for a young growing and very exciting company with an international presence. In this role you will be part of a team developing bespoke web applications for their consumer website working on a number of very exciting greenfield projects.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial experience in web-based applications using the LAMP technology stack including OO PHP, preferably with Magento. You will be able to communicate in a multidisciplinary environment and possess solid analytical and problem solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Ecommerce development skills in a LAMP environment ideally using Magento.
· Excellent Java Script Skills including Ajax.
· Strong operational knowledge of Linux, Apache MySQL including SQL operational tuning.
· Proven experience working in a RAD and developing in a CMS environment
· Knowledge of deployment with enterprise level infrastructure.
· Thorough understanding of DNS, HTTP, XML.
· An understanding HTML CSS.Desirable Skills:
· Knowledge of Perl / Python
· Any exposure with any virtualisation technologies would be extremely advantageous
