I know this should be easy since I already have a sporadic connection with the antenna stock on my laptop.
The solution would be a repeating device with a more robust antenna. Because I do not need to connect multiple devices, the cost can probably be minimal.
Either this repeater or adapter come to mind.
Perhaps there is a way to lookup the dbi rating of these to find out how to maximize the signal input range — any advice on the most economical but robust way of picking up a wifi signal at 300ft?
