PSU making sound when connected to UPS. Suggestion for a new PSU or other possible alternatives
So I built a pc two days back. Everything is new except for the power supply, which is a Thermaltake 350 W Litepower from my previous PC. It’s 5/6 years old but I didn’t buy a new one for two reasons: i) I don’t have/need a GPU and ii) Thermaltake is a reputable brand and I was sure it’s gonna last a few more years.
For a 350 W power supply, I got a Vertiv 650 VA Offline UPS (new). Now after running the the PC connected to UPS in normal mode, the PSU started to make a sound, like something is stuck on fan, a buzzing sound. It lasted for around 10 minutes then it went away. I should mention here that the the power supply was quite dusty (naturally) and it was cleaned with a brush as much as possible from the outside before installing it. Interestingly, it did not make the sound when I connected my PC to the main supply without using the UPS. This same phenomenon is occurring when I run my PC every time.
I took it to the technicians, they told me I can change the PSU, or keep it as it is. According to them, it’s the dust and sudden movement of the PSU that’s causing it (without opening the case though). Although it did not explain why it was not making any sound when connected to main supply.
Even if I change the PSU, 350 W is kind of obsolete nowadays (I guess?), and if I buy a higher wattage PSU, I believe I will have to change the new 650 VA UPS as well, which has a load capacity of 360 W according the specs.
Now my questions are:

Should I just keep everything as it is? The sound is a bit disturbing but it goes away in a few minutes. What are the risks?

Can use a Thermaltake 450 W PSU (which is available in the market. 350 W is available but they are not from any reputable brand) with my current UPS? I don’t necessarily need a long backup time. 5-10 minutes would be enough, Getting both a new UPS and a new PSU is gonna be a bit difficult for me.
