I have been developing web apps for the last 2 years. A friend of mine owns a website built with Magento with which he needs some help. I’ve no experience with Magento as of yet, but I’ve been trying to setup the project locally in order to be able to asses if I can help him to develop it further. My question is, how should I go about setting up the project locally. I’ve followed this tutorial https://www.simicart.com/blog/how-to-install-magento-2-localhost/ and saw many others alike, but it doesn’t help all that much since it creates everything from scratch. I have a DB backup which I would like to use when starting up the project. Ideally, someone could maybe point me to a step by step tutorial, but any help is much appreciated!
