Recovering data from salt-affected SSD

My laptop broke after coming in contact with salty liquid from a broken food packet. I’m now attempting to recover data. I have removed the M.2 NVMe/PCIe SSD. But I’m a little nervous to power it on, in case any salt or food residue increases the conductance and leads to data loss. So far I have cleaned the outside with a cotton bud and isopropyl alcohol.

I’m considering whether to remove the sticker to clean the circuit itself, but I don’t want to damage it in the process. I am also considering whether to fully submerge it in isopropyl alcohol, or whether this could damage it. I’m also not sure what protocol I should use for drying (luckily, it is a hot day).

Thank you for your help
