the leading eCommerce platform*, today at the Imagine eCommerce 2013
conference announced that the Delicious Karma site developed by Rocket
Web is the winner of the Most Innovative Magento Enterprise Site of
2012. Now in its second year, the prestigious honor was awarded by
Magento executives after evaluating submissions of online stores
developed on the Magento Enterprise Platform.

“We continue to be impressed by the innovation from our solution
partners as they push the boundaries of the Magento platform,” noted Roy
Rubin, co-founder and chief operating officer at Magento. “The advances
that Rocket Web brought to life for Delicious Karma capture the essence
of the art and technical expertise of successful commerce. We look
forward to seeing our merchants and partners continue to push the
bleeding edge of commerce innovation in 2013.”

Rocket Web for Delicious Karma:
a new daily deals startup, Delicious Karma worked with Rocket Web to
build out a fully scalable commerce initiative on Magento Enterprise to
support the company’s rapid growth. Rocket Web capitalized on the
private sale functionality built into Magento Enterprise to launch a
public beta six months ago engaging over 5,000 active users with an
average order size of $70.

Michelle Ritchie, chief marketing officer and founder of Delicious Karma
noted the potential that Rocket Web was able to realize, “Magento
Enterprise has enabled us to build something not previously possible: a

In addition to creative and visually appealing work, this year’s awards
focused on rewarding innovative HTML 5 implementations, responsive web
design, exceptional utilization of Magento’s inherent features and
integration with third party technologies from the diverse
6,000-extension strong Magento Connect marketplace. Most importantly,
the winning submission delivered above and beyond initial merchant
requirements by producing a site that exceeded business goals including
revenue, conversion rate, site traffic, average order volume, and
customer loyalty.

an increase in new visitors by 50% using a custom HTML integration.
