I have an older Mac Mini 6.1 (Late 2012) which I am trying to install Ubuntu on via USB stick.
Is it possible to use my iPad (bought in 2024) as a external display from I boot the mac into boot menu (boot from USB) and then during the install?
It would mean I would connect from HDMI (Mac Mini) -> USB-C (iPad).
I have read articles on using a HDMI to USB-C Capture card but will that work on boot up – on a potentially clean HDD?
