Using a table of interest rates across different lenders to directly link in a separate comparison calculator

Trying to create an excel spreadsheet using a comparative calculator on one tab with drop down lists that when you select a particular item on the list, it feeds in information from an information table on a separate tab.
I am a complete novice so any help would be much appreciated
