I recently noticed a strange behaviour with my home wifi network and I can’t find any answers on the internet. I tried calling my internet provider but he could not answer any of my questions. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out on this.
- when I am connected to my home wifi network and if I unplug my wifi router, somehow my phone keeps the wifi connection alive. I can still access the internet using my home wifi network even if my router is unplugged. How is this possible ?
- when I changed my wifi router’s credentials (both SSID and password, with a reboot after saving those changes), my friend’s phone did not ask him for the new credentials for a week. He still had access to my wifi network even if I had changed my entire router configuration. Why ?
