Why do new motherboards have a TPM header [closed]

I’m building a new PC and noticed according to Newegg, the 12th/13th gen Intel motherboards I’m looking at have a SPI TPM header (for example, ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2, ASRock B760M PG Lightning, ASUS PRIME B760M-A AX)–I also checked one of them at ASRock’s website to make sure I can trust the Newegg data. I’m assuming the purpose of this header is to add a TPM module.

This site and Intel’s have confirmed TPM (or PTT as Intel calls it) should be in the 12th and 13th gen CPUs these motherboards support. So, why bother with a connector/header for (another) TPM?
