If I connect to free WiFi at a hotel or airport, there is often a web portal that I have to click “Accept” on to gain access. Internet Explorer automatically redirects me to whatever the portal is, while Google Chrome doesn’t. My workaround is often to just launch Internet Explorer first, but this seems silly.
- Without knowing the web portal address how can I find it reliably?
- Why doesn’t this basic feature work on Google Chrome? Security reasons perhaps?
