I have a Baseus 9-in-1 USB hub plugged into my Asus G14. I have 2 monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse connected to the hub. After a restart (or shutoff), whatever is connected to the hub’s USB 3.0 ports wouldn’t get power (2 HDMI ports work, and the USB 2.0 port works). To make the hub’s 2 USB 3.0 ports work again, I need to unplug the USB hub and replug it in to make every port work again.
I tried the USB hub on a different laptop. All ports have power after a restart or shut-off. The issue is isolated to my Asus G14.
I also asked ChatGPT. ChatGPT told me to uncheck “Turn on fast startup” in Power Options in the Control Panel. It told me to uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” in the Device Manager for all USB controllers. But those troubleshooting steps did not solve the issue. Is there anything else I can try?
