Windows 10 Hyper-V, Debian Guest with Encrypted LVM

I’m having a problem proceeding past the prompt, “Please unlock sda_crypt:”, booting into Debian Linux 11. My problem specifically is that nothing happens, the keyboard doesn’t work when I’m prompted for the key.

My set up;

Host : Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, updated
VM : Hyper-V Gen2
Guest: Debian 11.2.0, one partition encrypted LVM

I know I can set up an encrypted VM using hyper-v, my preference is to use Debian’s encrypted LVM option during set up. I have looked for solutions or suggestions, and found very few who tried this, then gave up on installing with an encrypted LVM. So my questions, is this possible? Something I must do? Not possible?
