Windows from other Windows 10 Virtual Desktops flashing on Task Bar?

I’ve done a bit of Google-Fu on this one and can’t figure out how to correct this behavior. I have two virtual Desktops in Windows 10. In one of them, I have some automated processes running, and occasionally, based off what they are doing, they will flash on my main desktop. This is obviously annoying as I have them on a separate desktop for a reason.

In the screenshot below, all three of those Brave windows (individual processes using different user-data-dir) are on a different virtual desktop, but flashing on the main. If I click on them, it changes my focus to the second virtual desktop where they exist.

I tried Sysinternals Desktops, but it does not work with Windows 10.

Flashing Icons

Please note, this is not related to any question regarding controlling which Desktop applications are started on or auto switching when you launch a new version of an app from a different desktop. All these processes were started on Virtual Desktop #2 correctly but are flashing their taskbar icon on Virtual Desktop #1. Maybe a solution would be to disable flashing entirely, but that seems like a bad trade-off.
