I’m using my Lenovo Thinkpad P16v Gen 2 with Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 and am using Windows Hello to log into my computer and to let password managers enter my passwords automatically.
I configured four methods of logging in (face recognition, finger print, PIN code, password). I mostly use my laptop through a dock with external monitors and therefore the lid of the laptop is mostly closed. While face recognition or fingerprint are fast, they of course only work when the lid of the laptop is open. However, quite often my laptop starts searching for my face or finger print with the lid closed.
Is Windows Hello just not as smart as I hoped it would be, or can this behavior be tweaked somewhere?
