I have a relatively new Kali Linux installation and tried running xrdp to connect from my windows PC > Kali PC.
I have tried nearly everything I could find online to no avail.
My current xrdp.ini is basically default
xrdp.ini config
I’ve edited my startwm.sh file by adding the startxfce4 line
startwm.sh config
When I RDP to the Linux box, I only see a black screen then it closes.

I have tried multiple user account making sure to either not use the same account or having no accounts logged in.
I have changed the configs every which way(more or less default again)
I have never had issue before with this so anything would be appreciated.
I will monitor the post to supply more info if you need anything else.
