Excel hyperlink not working when using http://[username]:[password]@[ipaddress] format

I need to provide a username and password to login to a site that provides information for a Sercomm Camera. The hyperlink works when using the http://[ipaddress] link in an Excel cell, but it won’t even try to link when I include the username and password in the hyperlink (as: http://[username]:[password]@[ipaddress] ) which works fine when typed directly into the browser. How can I provide that direct link in the spreadsheet?
