My wifes HP laptop recently started throwing an error 90b on start up.
After running the recommended steps (updating bios, drivers etc.) I decided to simply replace the fan, which was a €15 part, so why not.
However the error persists. I installed speedfan to check on fan speeds, because I never see or hear the fan spinning. The odd thing is that it doesn’t even register the fan.
Anyone got any clues on what could cause this issue, and furthermore resolve it.
