I have Ubuntu installed on a LUKS encrypted SSD drive. Recently, my password is not decrypting drive. I troubleshooted by running newer Ubuntu under Test Drive on machine to make certain keyboard was at least functioning correctly. I am 99% password is correct as it was stored in KeyPass.
Did the SSD drive fail? Did GRUB get corrupted? I am not too concerned as important data is stored on external flash drive which itself is backed-up regularly. But I am hesitant to wipe and re-install as SSD drive is suspect
