The pin icon is icon group #5100 in imageres.dll.mun.
In older operating systems, I could hide this icon by replacing it with a transparent .ico file using either Resource Hacker or Customizer God. In Windows 11, the former cannot get past Windows’ protection for imageres.dll.mun (which is fair). while the latter has not been updated for years and cannot even boot in Windows 11.
