Any suggestions on how to setup automation to perform the following manual tasks automatically at start-up in Windows 10 Pro (22H2, if that matters)? Using pci bluetooth card manufactured by ASUS, if that matters either.
Since installing my pci bluetooth card years ago it has always had some kind of compatibility issue. Each time I restart or turn my PC off and back on, all of the items under the Bluetooth heading inside Device Manager disappear except for one, and that one has an exclamation mark on it, with a reference to “Code 19” and “incomplete or damaged” configuration in the registry. In order to work around this, each time I turn on the computer I have to open device manager, right click on the one item under Bluetooth and select uninstall, then select Scan for Hardware Changes under the Actions menu. This second step causes about a dozen items to appear under the Bluetooth heading, and the bluetooth connectivity immediately starts working. It seems stupid that I have to do this myself every time I turn the computer on given that I’m not doing anything complicated or special to get Windows to recognize and install the card, certainly not anything that Windows shouldn’t be able to do on its own.
Any suggestion on what direction to start looking in up to detailed steps on how to set something like that up would all be greatly appreciated.
