Using “Get” brand USB Wi-Fi Adapter drivers with Debian (Mint) [migrated]

I got a 2.4GHz USB Wi-Fi Adapter that works out of the box in Windows 10. On Linux Mint 22, I am not sure how to make it work; not even its signal lights blink, but the device is listed as Realtek smth, or RTL8.

Their QR code redirects to a Dropbox folder, UWF-800 801, which contains stuff to build and install the driver, but I tried it one way and another and it doesn’t succeed.

What I have found:

  • Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8192EU 802.11b/g/n WLAN Adapter
  • Repository > clnhub > rtl8192eu-linux

The Bottom answer seemed to produce no build error, but it didn’t help.
