Are there? To be more specific, are there an situations where the Windows kernel gives you better performance in X over Linux because Y? Or areas where the Windows kernel is better designed/architectured than Linux making it have better X?
I’m curious because I already have decided I’m always going to develop and run my code on Linux. I’m closing myself off to considering Windows. Is that always the right choice if I only care about the kernel and low-level APIs?
