Windows now lets you choose where you save passkeys for Windows apps. This can be in Windows Hello (device-bound passkeys), or in Microsoft Edge / Microsoft Password Manager (synced using Microsoft Account).
As of 2025-11-11, 1Password can be used to save passkeys for Windows apps. (Bitwarden also had an expired beta).
The Microsoft help page mentions Google Password Manager and Apple iCloud Keychain, as examples of synced credential managers.
Is Google Password Manager an option for other Windows apps? How would I turn it on? Is there a Google help page?
