I have a list of names and phone numbers for a specific group. We’re kind of like a club, so they are all expecting to hear from me in certain ways. I have a temporary need to send them all a few texts over the next month. I don’t need a long term solution, like an SMS service, so I thought I might do it manually through my computer and save a few hundred dollars.
The problem is that the list is about 2,000 records. I’m not bothered about the time I might spend; I have a plan that I think won’t actually take that long. I’m worried that Verizon will block my service because they will think I am spamming. If I send out 200 identical group messages, each with 10 numbers in it, will Verizon block me as a spammer?
