I’ve noticed that since a few days, Chrome 111 (on macOS running on an M2) is sometimes extremely slow when loading some websites for the first time. This happens even on a fresh install, without any extensions, while in Incognito mode.
In Incognito mode, without any extensions, Chrome took over 3 minutes (!) to load a website with a 100kb image.
On Safari, in private mode, loading the same website took less than a second.
This is reproducible across basically any website, but it does not happen every single time. Any idea what could cause this? I’ve already did a clean reinstall of Chrome.
