Data8 in Chester has released a new plug-in for the e-commerce platform Magento, which it says will speed up customer checkout processes.
The software firm, which specialises in helping companies handle data through data cleansing, postcode look-up and data validation, has made its contact validation systems available to Magento users.
It works by ensuring that users of the platform capture address and contact details accurately.
“Using the proven data8 postcode lookup tools to capture addresses, and comprehensive UK and North American telephone validation and international email validation services, ensures the contact details are correct,” explained Antony Allen, managing director of data8.
“By getting the contact details right first time, customers can be sure that their goods will arrive without delay and companies benefit from reduced administration costs.”
