Especially with open source software there can be several methods to download the app. Are they all the same or are there pros and cons when choosing one over the other?
- downloading the installer directly from the website
- downloading the torrent file and using it to download the installer
- using an app store (e.g. Microsoft Store)
- using a package manager (e.g. Chocolatey)
