I hav it working 100% stable for over 24 hours, then when I plug my USB C phone (Pixel 7 Pro, if that matters) it locks up within 30 minutes. Caps lock key, everything, dead. How can I begin investigating this?
Hardware: ASUS Zephyrus G16 AMD 32 GB RAM , 2 TB disk.

It might help me to know, what is the earliest invocation of the Wifi 7 driver for this sysstem’s MediaTek? If I can’t get Wifi 7 I suppose that’s better than it locking up on me.

Also if I could make changes to my kernel config, then recompile – let me know here as well.

I disconnected the Pixel 7 Pro – I SUSPECT this phone locks up linux.
I tested a USB C SSD enclosure, no issues.
I’m testing using my older Pixel 5a, I suspect this will reveal if it is a bug exclusive to the phone, vice/verse.

Both phones lock up the system. USB C fault of some kind. I am testing before the warranty deadline, on the 15th of January.
I will have to ride a bus to get it fixed.
Windows 11 Home has no issues whatsoever, ever with it.
Also, although possibly non-related, the BIOS locked up 2 times while messing with UEFI and SecureBoot.
