I’ve found a link on makeuseof.com that points to a download for a MacOS Monterey install disk image, in a tutorial for running MacOS on VMWare. I’m wondering how dangerous it is to run this disk image if it is malicious, and how likely it is to be malicious? I’m trying to setup a MacOS development environment without actually having a recent Mac device.
