I’m new to networking so forgive me if this is in the wrong stack exchange.
I just bought and installed a Unifi UDM SE with a U6 Pro access point. My client device can’t connect to an external multiplayer minecraft server now that i’ve changed my old netgear router to the UDM SE.
My client device is connected to the a VLAN network I setup. When I switch it to the default network I can connect to the minecraft server just fine. This makes me believe that I’ve added some sort of firewall or traffic rule that blocks it. I removed all traffic rules for the new vlan network. I added a traffic rule to allow the vlan to connect to the domain of the minecraft server. Seems like nothing has fixed my issue other than switching to the default network. Keeping the client to the default network isn’t an option because it’s my kids network and I want to prohibit certain apps/domains.
Any ideas? What do you need from me to help troubleshoot this?
