I’d like to add 8TB DELL Exos 7E8 drives, model ST8000NM0185, to my servers.
I bought these SAS->SATA adapters to connect them, but the drives aren’t detected by the BIOS.
I mainly use ASUS motherboards. Do I need to enable any special options for them to be detected by the system? Or do I need to buy a dedicated PCIe card?
