How to daisy chain SAS/SATA ports on a QNAP TL-D800S?

I have a QNAP TL-D800S with 2 Ports.
Is it possible to daisy chain 2 TL-D800S like with SAS Ports?

The block diagram of the included HBA shows that it exposes SATA, not SAS on its ports.
So the ports on the JBOD enclousre should be also SATA and not SAS.

Therefore i think i cant daisy chain them like in TL-R1220Sep-RP shown:

I am right?
