I am trying to get an alternate system on a nexus 7. I have a nexus 7 grouper and am getting a nexus 7 2nd generation. I would prefer not to risk data with like my PC. Like my PC is a HP PC running Windows 10 and X86 operating system. I know UBPorts is X64. I tried it anyway and it recognized like my old nexus 7 grouper on like my computer. Is there a way to install Ubuntu on either nexus 7 without risking like my PC data? You can just delete this if this is off topic, but I do not know where to ask about old Ubuntu. I would prefer SD card installation. Like nexus 7 8GB grouper and nexus 7 16GB 2nd generation is what I will have. I have seen that XDA Ubuntu Mate and would prefer to keep Android on like my old nexus 7 grouper. All as per one might be maybe or might not be maybe, maybe or maybe not, maybe.
