The Windows 11 taskbar is not acting the same any more as the Windows 10 taskbar when it comes to pinned files.
I use LibreOffice on Windows 11 and I used to pin .ots or .ott files (which are LibreOffice templates) to the Calc or Writer icon on my taskbar because I use these templates many times a day.
Since Windows 11 you can only pin “recent opened files” to your taskbar if remembering “recent files” is enabled in the Windows settings. Since template files directly open a new instance of the template as a document, there is no record of a recent opened “template” file stored by Windows, so I am also unable to pin these template files to the LibreOffice tab on the taskbar. In a previous version of Windows 11 this was still working but since a recent update not any more.
Any one any idea how to revert to the old behaviour somewhere in the registry?
Or any workaround to be able to pin “any document” to the Windows11 taskbar?
