How do I stop Ubuntu from overwriting critical udev rules?
My /lib/udev/rules.d/64-xorg-xkb.rules was overwritten on February 19. (The new version is missing my xmodmap load script. This causes the default version to be used, which confounds the Alt and Meta keys. Because apparently Linus’s keyboard doesn’t have as many modifier keys on it as keyboards used by 99.9999% of the population.)
