Is it possible to adjust video/audio sync for elements in a web browser?

My Bluetooth headphones have a slight delay, probably about 250ms but it seems to vary depending on the day. Otherwise I like them, but it makes watching movies very annoying, since the lips don’t match the audio.

When I watch movies in VLC, I can easily adjust the audio/video sync, so that it lines up. Is it possible to do the same thing in any browser? Youtube seems to compensate for it correctly (somehow), but other less sophisticated sites, such as Disney+, aren’t clever enough. If I could just delay the video by 200ms or so, it would line up.

Is that possible? I’ve seen some extensions that create a second, hidden video element and synchronize that way, but that seems wasteful.

I’m not interested in solutions that try to diagnose the root cause; if someone knows how to stream Disney+ over VLC (or use VLC as a media player within a browser), I’d be interested in that, though.
