Is there a GUI-based way to annotate pdfs with equations?

I want to be able to annotate a pdf with a textbox that has equations properly rendered in it. Neither Adobe Reader nor Okular seem to be able to do this.

Is that the only way? I would like a GUI based way to do it. Ideally, through adobe reader.
