Leading e-commerce platform welcomes host of partners

X.commerce, the open commerce ecosystem has announced that several new partners have joined its global reach, including eBay, PayPal and Magento.

The company offers developers the platform to create new solutions in line with today’s social, local, mobile and digital-driven commerce.

Industry leaders such as FreeAgent, Kabbage and Tradebox are among the latest selection of partners to join, following an announcement at LeWeb 2011 conference in Paris today.

FreeAgent’s online accounting system has rapidly built a global community of thousands of small businesses and freelancers, who can send invoices, track time and expenses and build real-time accounts, amongst other features.

Ed Molyneux, CEO of FreeAgent, said: “We’re delighted to have been invited to be part of the X.commerce community right from the start.

Tradebox provide a desktop application, designed to integrate online marketplaces with Sage Accounts, allowing users to manage, control and account for their online sales and stock at the touch of a button.

X.commerce allows merchants access to the technology assets and develop communities of eBay, PayPal and Magneto to support eBay Inc’s mission of enabling commerce.
