I use my mini as plex server to stream movies on my tv. They will not load until i wake up my screen. Will be just forever buffering or give me an error on plex. After i wake it up i can watch the whole movie or tv serie episode until i need to change the movie or episode as it will be buffering again.
Since i fed up of standing up to go to my computer and clicking on the keyboard to wake it up, i managed to connect to it via SSH client from my phone and give it CAFFEINATE input. Checking via terminal on mini using pmset -g assertions it states that the CAFFEINATE is preventing the sleep so you would guess it is working. But buffer happens again and to make the video resume i need to unlock my phone so the terminal i al connected to is on the screen and then it resumes.
I am using Shelly on the phone and it is set to run in background indefinitely. Besides setting caffeinate from the server itself, do I have any other options?
