I have a Lenovo PC that is paired with an AMD Athlon CPU from 2005 with 1 GB RAM. Recently, I tried to boot it, but it would give no display. The PC would turn on, and give a light to signal that the PC is on, but the fan would spin at full speed for an indefinite time.
(I once let the PC run for an hour or two, but the fan would still spin at full speed)
From my experiences, the PC would give a display and the fan would spin at a normal speed only when it would detect a HDD. I plugged in several, but it won’t detect. Motherboard doesn’t beep, but when I unplugged the keyboard and mouse from the PC, it would beep twice. It just doesn’t try to read the HDD anymore.
The TV I’m connecting it to is I believe a RCA L22HD41 by VGA.
