Open-cloud company Rackspace Hosting is collaborating with Magento on a new program that will give hosting customers greater flexibility to expand into e-commerce.
Rackspace will join the Magento Hosting Partner program as a platinum-level partner. Rackspace will manage the online infrastructure for customers’ sites
Magento, a division of X.commerce, is owned by San Jose, Calif.-based eBay Inc. San Antonio-based Rackspace (NYSE: RAX) is an information-technology hosting company.
