I installed RetroPie onto my Raspian using the manual method. I am able to launch RetroPie without problems. I can also return to my GUI desktop by quitting Emulation Station and “startx”. But I want to make the experience better by booting directly into emulationstation and then enter Desktop via a short cut. Ideally, I can also quit the Desktop and return to ES but that’s optional, dropping into shell is fine.
