I have installed Rustdesk (Version 1.3.8) on two Windows clients (without a self-hosted relay server). I can connect via the Rustdesk ID as well as the local IP address (IP4). I saved the connection as a favorite.
Unfortunately, the Rustdesk online status indicator doesn’t work for the LAN connection. The regular connection via the Rustdesk ID works fine. Network discovery is enabled (or rather not disabled), and disabling the firewall doesn’t help. I went through countless Reddit and GitHub posts and the documentation on rustdesk.com. But so far, I haven’t found any working solutions.
Any help would be appreciated. I’m not affiliated with Rustdesk, but to anyone who hasn’t yet, I recommend trying it.
