I was looking for some really good SSD external drives. I use SK HYNIX SSD NVMe in my laptops and think they are good.
But the SSD drives have been a little bit expensive the latest 3 – 4 years here in Europe. I know that USB flash drives do NOT have the same high quality as external (and internal) SSD drives. But I found for a couple of weeks ago one of the biggest companies, which are selling consumer electronics, computers and parts in Scandinavia, SAMSUNG BAR PLUS 256GB to a low price, so I bought a dozen of these flash drives.
I only planning to use these drives as “write once” and “read several times” for LONG TIME STORAGE. I probably has several hundreds of 3.5″ and 2.5″ hard disk drives – mostly Western Digital and Seagate, but in the future I have to, sooner or later, copy some of the hdd drives to SSD drives. I have mostly music audio and video files stored. And of course, photos and videos I have filmed myself.
Any opinion?
