We have a pxeboot tinycore environment setup which works perfect. We want to set the Mac address as hostname and register this name to our internal windows dns server. We have managed to change the /etc/hosts and/etc/hostname at pxe boot time to apply the MAC address as hostname but still tinycore registers the dhcp address as box.domain.suffix.
