I have a Legion 5 15IRX9 laptop (Type 83JJ), and it’s about 3 months old. I was using Windows 10, and the touchpad drivers were not working. I thought it was due to unsupported drivers, but later I needed the touchpad, so I installed Windows 11, and now it doesn’t work at all.
I tried different drivers (with a fresh install of Windows 11). In Device Manager, I have: HID Keyboard, Standard PS/2 Keyboard (I tried changing to HID devices and so on with different drivers). I also tried FN+F10 (It shows that the touchpad is enabled, but it still doesn’t work). There is no touchpad setting in either Windows 10 or 11. I also read similar posts on various forums, and the touchpad still doesn’t work in BIOS. However, when I bought the laptop, I installed Windows 11 as a second system, with Windows 10 as the primary one, and the touchpad was working on Windows 10 back then, but now it’s not.
Also, the BIOS has been updated to the latest version available on the website. Also Touchpad not working in BIOS!
